Removes Oxidisation, Salt, and Mould

Over time, painted surfaces develop chalking — a powdery residue caused by UV breaking down the paint binder. Beneath the chalk layer, mould spores take hold in damp, shaded areas. Meets Resene and Dulux Specifications

Both Resene and Dulux technical data sheets specify that surfaces must be washed to remove all traces of mould, lichen, dirt, and loose material before painting. Failure to do so can void the paint manufacturer's warranty. You don't need to worry about liability or compliance — we carry comprehensive public liability insurance and manage all safety requirements ourselves.

Documentation Provided

On completion, we provide a written report confirming the date of wash, the chemicals used, the surfaces treated, and a photographic record of the cleaned surfaces. This documentation satisfies paint manufacturer prep requirements and gives your painter confidence that the substrate is ready for coating. If you're managing a project through a builder or project manager, we can supply the report directly to them.
